The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, has successfully constructed a new toilet and bathroom block at Srijansil Children Welfare and handed over to the orphanage home on 28 July, 2025 jointly by the Presidents of both Rotary Club of Kathmandu Rtn Rajendra Gautam and President of Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Rtr Suman Dangol.
This facility will greatly improve hygiene, sanitation, and daily living conditions for the orphaned children residing there. Access to clean and safe sanitation is a basic human right and a crucial aspect of a child’s health and dignity. By supporting this project, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu is not only addressing an immediate need but also reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to community service, health, and child welfare. This initiative reflects Rotary’s core areas of focus-especially Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), as well as Supporting Education. The Club is proud to contribute towards project. The project is worth of NRs. 400,000.
