Achut Babu Ojha
Dear Fellow Rotarians,
I am very much grateful to the fellow Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu for trusting me as the president of the first and pioneer club of Nepal; Rotary Club of Kathmandu for Rotary Year 2022-23.
I would like to remember charter members and would also like to articulate my gratitude to Past Presidents and members of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu for their contribution to heightening the club to what it is today.
As steered by the presidential theme-Imagine Rotary of RI President Jennifer E. Jones, we will
dream big and harness their connections and the power of Rotary to turn those dreams into reality.
I am confident that the support of fellow Rotarians who have decided to contribute their
efforts, talents, and treasure will surely surge the image of Rotary to its greater height.
I am grateful to the board of Directors of RY 2022-23 for their commitment to enhancing the image of Rotary by embracing the motto “Service above Self”.
The rotary year 2021-22 was a benchmark for the rotary movement and leadership demonstrated by Rtn. Suresh Man Singh as club president even during the challenging era of the COVID pandemic is noteworthy. I congratulate IPP Rtn. Suresh Man Singh and his team for the successful and remarkable tenure.
Lastly, I take this opportunity to thank all my club members for supporting me throughout my different roles in the club, and expect similar support during my tenure as a president. Let us join hands together to work for the benefit of many.
Rtn. Achut Babu Ojha
