Kathmandu, 1 July 2025 – The Rotary Club of Kathmandu proudly launched its first service project of the Rotary Year 2025–26 with a generous donation of Rs. 50,000 to Rudranju Pratisthan, a foundation dedicated to the well-being of senior citizens.
The donation will be used to purchase materials for the resting area at the foundation, enhancing comfort and care for the elderly residents.
A formal handover ceremony was held to commemorate the occasion. Present at the event were Club President Rtn. Rajendra Gautam, Past Presidents Rtn. Dan Bahadur Chand and Rtn. Achut Babu Ojha, President-Elect Prof. Dr. Puspa Raj Sharma, Vice President Rtn. Prajun Khadka, Membership Development Committee Chair Rtn. Khagendra Adhikari, and Service Project Committee Co-chair Rtn. Pradip Khadka. Their presence and support added great value to this meaningful initiative.
This impactful beginning sets a positive tone for a year of service and deeper community engagement as the club continues to support causes that bring lasting change.
