Lalitpur, Nov. 12, 2025 – The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in partnership with Rotary Club of Godawari, conducted “Project Jhola” at Shree Shree Bageshwori Basic School in Godawari Municipality–10, Tahakhel, and Shree Chitra Kumari Basic School in Godawari–8, Dukichhap, Lalitpur.
A total of 109 students received school backpacks containing bags, stationery supplies, and tracksuits.
The event was attended by Deputy Mayor of Godawari Municipality Mrs. Muna Adhikari, along with RC Kathmandu President Rajendra Gautam, Past Presidents Ram Gartaula and Achut Babu Ojha, Editor Sudip Khatiwada, and several members from RC Godawari.
According to organizers, the initiative aligns with Rotary’s commitment to basic education and literacy, aiming to reduce educational barriers by providing essential learning materials to underprivileged children. Rotary representatives highlighted that such efforts help promote regular school attendance, instill confidence in students, and contribute to long-term community development. The project was worth of NRs. 130,845.
