Rotary and Rotaract Clubs Distribute School Backpacks in Gulmi

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, successfully conducted a School Backpack Program under the Nepal School Support Project at Shree Bhima Basic School, Gulmi, on 8th September 2025. Through this initiative, 55 students of the school received essential educational materials, including school bags, track suits, and stationery items. Additionally, 100 students from other schools of Gulmi also benefited from the project. The program aimed to motivate students, ease the financial burden on families, and encourage greater participation in school activities.

The project demonstrates the shared commitment of both clubs to promoting education and supporting students in their learning journey. By providing necessary resources, the initiative not only fosters a more conducive learning environment but also inspires young learners to pursue their studies with enthusiasm. The Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Kathmandu continue to work hand in hand to uplift education in Nepal through such impactful projects, ensuring students are better equipped to achieve their academic goals. The event was attended by President Rtn. Rajendra Gautam and First Lady Samikshya Khanal, along with Vice President of the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, Rtr. Rabindra Karki, and Service Project Committee Chair, Rtr. Smriti Sapkota.
