Rotary Year 2024–25
• The 68th Installation Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu was successfully held on 2rd July 2025 at Best Wester Plus Hotel. Rtn. Rajendra Gautam was formally installed as the President of the Club and the event was graced by Honorable Nawal Kishor Sah Sudi, Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, as the Chief Guest and District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala as the Guest of Honor.
• The Rotary Club of Kathmandu donated NRs. 50,000 to Rudranju Pratisthan, a foundation dedicated to the well-being of senior citizens on 1st July, 2025.
• The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Circle provided 8 Aqua-boxes to 8 families affected by the fire incident in Sarkegad Rural Municipality-3, Unapini, Humla, located in Nepal’s Karnali Province worth NRs. 250,000 on 9 July, 2025.
• The Rotary Club of Kathmandu successfully concluded 48th batch of ICT Training for 22 public school teachers, held from July 17 to 19, 2025, at Rotary Bhawan, Thapathali worth NRs. 125,000.
• Rotary Club of Kathmandu in collaboration with Rotary Club of Patan, Rotary Club of Bagmati, Rotary Club of Balaju and Rotary Club of Yala planted 600 plants on 26 July, 2025 by using The Miyawaki technique at Sano Hattiban, Lalitpur.
• The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu constructed a new toilet (3 rooms) and bathroom (1 room) block at Srijansil Children Welfare and handed over to the orphanage home on on 28 July, 2025 by President Rtn. Rajendra Gautam and team worth NRs. 400,000.
• The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with Connection Nepal, successfully conducted a two-day Training of Trainers workshop on Stress Management from August 1–2, 2025, at Rotary Bhawan, Thapathali.
• The Rotary Club of Kathmandu organized Project Jhola – a school bag distribution program at Shree Viniyak Saraswoti Basic School in Changunarayan-1, Saraswotikhel, Bhaktapur on 10 August, 2025 benefiting 53 students worth NRs. 25,175 to support their academic needs.
