• Rotary Club of Kathmandu successfully completed the 65th Installation Ceremony of the Club on 6th July, 2022 at Hukum Durbar, Kamalpokhari. Rtn. Achut Babu Ojha was installed as President.

• Rotary Club of Kathmandu donated 648,000 Pcs of KN-95 Mask Worth AU$ 325,447 to more than 100 health institutions in Nepal. Past President Rtn. Suresh Man Singh coordinated the project.

• Rotary Club of Kathmandu completed 2nd batch of BASIC ICT Training for Public School Teachers from 5-7 Aug, 2022 in Kathmandu, 3rd batch from 8-10 Sep 2022 in Makawanpur, 4th batch from 21 – 23 Jan, 2023 in Kathmandu and 5th batch from 27-29 May, 2023 in Baglung. 60 teachers of different community-based school got benefitted.

• Rotary Club of Kathmandu established Operating Theater Unit worth Nrs 2,469,050 at Dudhkoshi Community Hospital, Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality, Solukhumbu on 19 September 2022. The project was supported by the Rotary Club of Balwyn (AU$ 10,000) under Centenary Grants for 2022, RC Northbridge Australia also contributed AU$ 5,000, RC Albury also contributed for the project.

• 826 primary level students of 10 different schools received Rotary Scholarship worth NRs. 2,478,000 (84 students of Shree Chunadevi Secondary School, 112 students of Shree Himalayan Secondary School, 130 Chepang students of Shree Prathamik School Makawanpur, 104 Chepang students of Borang Basic School Dhading, 102 students of Shree Kamala Basic School, 67 students of Kalika Secondary School, 113 students of Shree Kamala Secondary School, 17 students of Shree Kalika Primary School, 45 students of Sidda Primary School, and 52 students of Jana Chahana Primary School of Sindhuli). Scholarship recipient received two sets of school uniforms, stationery materials, bags, sweaters, shoes, etc. in the presence of Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) volunteers from Australia.

• More than 1000 rural school students received school bags, uniforms, and hygiene kits worth NRs. 1805650 under project jhola supported by different Rotary Clubs from Australia, New Zealand, the USA.

• Rotary Club of Kathmandu in coordination with the school management committee successfully completed the construction of Girls friendly Toilet at Shree Bindeshwori Basic School recently merged with Kalika Basic School, Raksirang Rural Municipality – 1, Makawanpur with Nrs. 400,000 in support of RC Vercelli Italy, RC West Wollongon Australia and RC Waimate New Zealand.

• Rotary Club of Kathmandu celebrated its 65th Charter Anniversary & District Governor’s Official Club Visit on Thursday, 13th April 2023 at Lisara Receptions, Naxal, Kathmandu.

• Rotary Club of Kathmandu completed Project called “Improving water and sanitation facilities in Nepal Japan Children Library” benefiting 6000 plus individuals by renovating wash facilities including toilets, kitchens, and water tanks worth NRs. 103000 through district grant.

• Secretary Rtn. Rajendra Gautam received Rotary New Generations Service Exchange (NGSE) Scholarship, a short-term, customizable program for university students and professionals provided from Rotary International for the first time from Nepal to Australia, supported by Rotary District 9800, sponsored by Rotary Club of Balwyn and managed by Rotary Club of Macedon Ranges to develop professional skills in humanitarian sector.

• Rotary Club of Kathmandu and Rotary International District 3292 signed an agreement on 29th June 2022 for the construction of an office building at Rotary Club of Kathmandu’s premises at Thapathali. Initially, the two-story building will be constructed jointly and will be used by both parties equally. The groundbreaking ceremony of the building construction was performed on 1st July 2022 in the presence of the council of governors, district officials, past presidents, and members of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu.
