– 2020-21 Tirtha Raj Dahal was installed as the President.
– Dragon Fruit Distribution: Under this project, Rotary Club of Kathmandu in coordination with Rotary Club of Madhyapur Thimi jointly distributed Dragon Fruits Plant to 10 family of Bode on 11 July, 2020. Each family received 5 plants with an objective to enhance economic and community development and create opportunities for decent and productive work for young and old.
– Virtual Class Management training: Rotary Club of Kathmandu organized Virtual Class Management Training form 29 August 2020 to 20 March 2021 to benefit school teachers. 1510 teachers of 320 schools from 47 districts of Nepal attended the session. Chief Guest of the session were DG Rajib Pokharel, IPDG KiranLal Shrestha, RNLM Secretary Rajesh Thapa, DGN Jitendra Bahadur Rajbhandari, DGE Santosh Rijal, PDG / WINS Chair RNLM Cochair Basu Dev Golyan, TEACH Support Coordinator Sunil Krishna Shrestha, PDG Yogendra Man Pradhan Chair RNLM province 3(B), PDG Dilendr Raj Shrestha, PDG RNLM Chair Tirtha Man Shakya, PDG SanjayaGiri and PDG Rabindra Piya.
– Scholarship and Lunch Support Project: Educational Scholarship along with school uniform, stationary, sweater,
school bag and school shoes were provided to 111 students of Shree Kamala Higher Secondary School, 57 students of
Shree Kalika Secondary School and 97 students of Shree Kamala Basic School of Sindhuli on 27 March, 2021. The
students from underprivileged community were benefited from the project. Similarly, reusable sanitary pad kit set
(MHM Kit) was provided to girls student of secondary level during the program and also training on Reusable Sanitary Pad Making was organized for the teachers of three schools.
– Ambulance Handover Program: Rotary Club of Kathmandu handed over Ambulance supported by Rotary Club of Gananoque, RID 7040 Canada through Rotary Club of Kathmandu for the help of Kidney Patients of Kathmandu to National Kidney
Center on Feb 8, 2021. The project is worth of NRs. 1,300,000.
– TV Handover Program under TEACH :Rotary club of Kathmandu completed e-learning class and handed over smart TV
at Nandi Higher Secondary School Naxal, Shree Chunadevi Secondary School Nagarkot and Shree Himalayan School Newroad in the presence of DG RtnRajibPokhrel under TEACH program. The TV set includes digital syllabus from class nursery to ten on 20 Jan, 2021.
– Project Bag for Primary students: Rotary Club of Kathmandu in coordination with Solidarity Nepal (NGO) distributed school bags to the students of Shree Tila Basic School, Mahabai Rural Municipality-2, Kalikot and Shree Udaya Secondary School, Chandrakot Rural Municipality, Shantipur, Gulmi in support of Rotary Clubs from Australia and individual donors worth of NRs. 175,000 on 5 Feb, 2021.
– Menstrual Hygiene Management Project: In coordination with Rotary Club of Corrimal and cooperating partner organization Connection Nepal on 24 November 2020, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu organized MHM project at Tistung, Thaha Municipality- 11, Makwanpu where a reusable sanitary pad kit set (MHM Kit) was provided to 319 girls students of class 6-11 studying at Shree Bageshwori Secondary School, Tistung, and orientation on MHM was provided to all the students. Similarly, orientation on MHM to create MHM friendly school was provided to the members of the School Management Committee (SMC) and Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of Shree Bageshwori Secondary School.To make menstrual products available in the local area at a more affordable cost and uplift the livelihood of local women through reusable sanitary pad production, training on reusable menstrual pad making was provided to 23 enthusiast women of Tistung and periphery area.
– Interact Club Formation:Community based Interact club, Interact Club of Kathamndu which was lead by Charter president Itr. Abhilasha K.C was inducted into Rotary family.
