- ICT Training RY 2025-26 : 17-19 July, 2025
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu successfully concluded 48th batch of ICT Training for public school teachers, held from July 17 to 19, 2025, at Rotary Bhawan, Thapathali. The program was chaired by Club President Rajendra Gautam, The Chief Guest of the opening ceremony was District Governor Elect Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karki and chief guest of the closing ceremony was Rajesh Thapa, Secretary of Basic Education & Literacy, RID 3292. The event was also graced by the presence of Past Presidents Bishnu Subedi, Mukunda Sharma Paudel, and Tirtha Raj Dahal; Vice President Prajun Khadka; TRF Chair Dr. Pradeep Pandey; members Dr. Rekha Sthapit and Rakesh Gurung. A total of 22 public school teachers participated in the three-day training program, which focused on enhancing their skills in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The sessions were facilitated by Ishwori Neupane.
2. ICT Training RY 2025-26 : 8-17-18 Sep, 2025
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu in collaboration with Rotary Club of Balaju successfully concluded 49th batch of ICT Training for public school teachers of Trakeshwor Municipality, Kathmandu, held on 8th, 17th and 18th Sep, 2025. The training was affected by Gen-Z movement. at Rotary Bhawan, Thapathali. 20 teachers from different schools of the municipality received training.
3. ICT Training RY 2025-26 : 16-18 OCT, 2025
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu commenced the 50th batch of ICT Training 16-18 Oct, 2025 at Rotary Bhawan, Thapathali. The opening program was graced by the presence of President Rajendra Gautam, District Governor Binod Koirala, Basic Education & Literacy Chair PDG Sanjay Giri, DS Anish Bajracharya, District Treasurer Gyanendra Bhari, along with district officials, past presidents, and club members. A total of 19 teachers from 14 schools representing Bhojpur, Ramechhap, Kavre, Sindhupalchok, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, and Kathmandu districts are participating in this batch of training. To date, 982 teachers from 581 schools have successfully completed this ICT training program. We extend our sincere appreciation to Program Coordinator PP Tirtha Raj Dahal and the Basic Education & Literacy Committee for their dedicated efforts and continued support.
4. ICT Training RY 2025-26 : 15-16 Nov, 2025
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu in collaboration with Rotary E-Club of Namobuddha Bagmati successfully concluded 51th batch of ICT Training for public school teachers of Banepa Municipality-4, Kavre, held on 15th – 16th, Nov, 2025. 20 teachers from different schools of the municipality received training at Chadeshwari Shristikanta Secondary School.
5. ICT Training RY 2025-26 : 21-23 Nov, 2025
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu in collaboration with Rotary Club of Kathmandu Kalanki successfully concluded 52 batch of ICT Training for public school teachers of Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu, held on 21st – 23rd, Nov, 2025. 20 teachers from different schools of the municipality received training.
6. ICT Training RY 2025-26 : 19-20 Dec, 2025
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Sainamaina and with support from the Basic Education & Literacy Committee, RID 3292, successfully conducted the 53rd batch of ICT Training for Public School Teachers in Sainamaina Municipality, Rupandehi, on 19–20 December 2025.
The two-day training program was organized for public school teachers of Sainamaina Municipality and saw the active participation of 21 teachers representing seven schools. The initiative aimed to enhance teachers’ digital skills and promote the effective use of information and communication technology in classroom teaching.
The closing ceremony was held in a dignified manner under the chairmanship of Rtn. Bhojraj Poudel, President of the Rotary Club of Sainamaina. Mayor Mr. Fadindra Prasad Sharma attended the program as the Chief Guest, while Rtn. Prem Kumar Sharma, Coordinator of Basic Education & Literacy, RID 3292, Region 5, was present as a distinguished guest.
With the completion of the 53rd batch, the ICT Training program has now benefited a total of 1,045 teachers from 615 schools, marking a significant contribution toward improving the quality of public education.
The organizers expressed their sincere appreciation to the trainers, Mr. Shishir Chhetri and Mr. Balkrishna Gyawali, for their professional expertise and dedication. Gratitude was also extended to the supporting Rotary Clubs, the Basic Education & Literacy RID 3292 team, and the TEACH Committee of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu for their continued cooperation and support in ensuring the program’s success. 7. ICT Training RY 2025-26 : 25-27 Dec, 2025
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kathmandu North and with the support of the Basic Education & Literacy Committee, RID 3292, successfully conducted the 54th batch of ICT Training for Public School Teachers in Suryabinayak Municipality–7, Bhaktapur, from 25–27 December 2025.
The three-day training program was organized for public school teachers of Suryabinayak Municipality and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 20 teachers representing various schools. The initiative aimed to strengthen teachers’ digital competencies and encourage the effective integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in classroom teaching and learning processes.
Rotarians from both the Rotary Club of Kathmandu and the Rotary Club of Kathmandu North were present during the opening and closing ceremonies, demonstrating their continued commitment to enhancing the quality of education through technology. The budget of the project is NRs. 144,700.

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Patan and with the support of the Basic Education & Literacy Committee, RID 3292, successfully conducted the 55th batch of ICT Training for Public School Teachers in Mahalaxmi Municipality, Lalitpur, from 25–27 December 2025.
The three-day training program was organized for public school teachers of Mahalaxmi Municipality and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 20 teachers representing various schools. The initiative aimed to strengthen teachers’ digital competencies and encourage the effective integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in classroom teaching and learning processes. Rotarians from both the Rotary Club of Kathmandu and the Rotary Club of Patan were present during the opening and closing ceremonies, demonstrating their continued commitment to enhancing the quality of education through technology.
