The Rotary Club of Kathmandu has successfully conducted its Club Assembly to plan and outline programs for the Rotary Year 2025–26.

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu successfully conducted its Planning Assembly for the Rotary Year 2025-26 in the esteemed presence of Assistant Governor 2025-26, Rtn. Sumeera Shrestha on 4 June, 2025 at Rotary Bhawan, Thapathali. During the assembly, chairs of all standing committees presented their comprehensive plans and programs aimed at achieving the goals set for the year. The session fostered strategic alignment, collaboration, and inspiration as the club prepares to implement impactful projects in the areas of community service, youth engagement, vocational service, international service, and club administration. This assembly marks the beginning of an exciting journey toward another year of Service Above Self, with a shared commitment to meaningful action and sustainable impact.
2. 1st Club Assembly: 30 July, 2025
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu held its 1st Club Assembly on July 30, 2025, in the gracious presence of Assistant Governor Rtn. Sumeera Shrestha. The meeting brought together members, Past Presidents, and guests for a meaningful exchange of ideas and updates. During the assembly, all Committee Chairs and Co-chairs presented comprehensive progress reports, highlighting the impactful activities carried out throughout the month of July. These initiatives reflect the Club’s strong commitment to Rotary International’s Seven Areas of Focus, including peacebuilding, disease prevention, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, economic development, and environmental sustainability. Rotary service activities are vital because they address the most pressing needs of our communities-locally and globally. They foster peace, promote health and education, empower individuals and families, and build sustainable solutions for future generations. Through collective action and shared purpose, Rotary amplifies the power of service to create lasting change. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who attended and contributed to the success of the assembly. Together, we continue to move forward with passion, purpose, and the spirit of “Service Above Self.”
