• Public Procurement Expert Mr. Jibanath Pokharel delivered a presentation on the building construction regulations of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu, emphasizing important considerations to safeguard the club’s interests. After the discussion, the house agreed to forward the matter to the board, make the necessary corrections, and finalize the decisions in the upcoming business meeting.
• A special moment was dedicated to celebrating the birthday of Past President Rtn. Dan Bahadur Chand, adding warmth and joy to the gathering.
• The evening transitioned into a vibrant Fellowship Dinner, strengthening bonds of unity, friendship, and shared purpose among members. The event embodied the true spirit of Rotary – service, fellowship, and collective growth.

• Public Procurement Expert Mr. Jibanath Pokharel delivered a presentation on the building construction regulations, which had been approved by the 2nd board meeting held on 31st August 2025 and brought to the house for endorsement. After making the necessary amendments, the house approved the regulations for further action.

3rd Business Meeting Highlights – Rotary Club of Kathmandu

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu held its 3264th Business Meeting, presided over by President Rtn. Rajendra Gautam, with active participation from Past Presidents and esteemed club members.
Key Highlights: The meeting featured a constructive and forward-looking discussion on the club’s future plans and programs. The discussion concluded with the decision that the club will proceed with the new building construction in accordance with the guidelines previously approved by the house. If any amendment to the agreement with the district is required, the club will make the necessary changes and continue to move forward accordingly. We deeply appreciate the insightful feedback and continued support from our Past Presidents, who play a crucial role in guiding our initiatives. Business meetings are an essential part of Rotary’s operation – they foster transparency, collaboration, and strategic planning. These gatherings ensure that every member’s voice is heard, helping the club stay aligned with its mission of service, fellowship, and community impact.
