President Rajendra Gautam, Rotary Club of Kathmandu Honored by Nepal Police for Rehabilitation Support

Kathmandu, April 10 – President Rajendra Gautam of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu was honored by Nepal Police in recognition of the club’s outstanding contribution to restoring police stations damaged during the Gen Z movement.

With the support of several Rotary clubs, the Rotary Club of Kathmandu and Rotary President Action Group 2025–26 played a vital role in rehabilitation efforts. Their initiatives included refurbishing, cleaning, repairing, and supplying essential materials to affected police stations, enabling them to resume operations efficiently.

The group also organized blood donation programs, assisted injured individuals, and provided medical aid and food support to those affected.

The appreciation ceremony was attended by senior police officials and Rotary leaders, where Inspector General Dan Bahadur Karki presented certificates of appreciation to the contributors for their dedicated service.

This collaborative initiative strengthened the relationship between Nepal Police and the community, boosting morale and promoting a spirit of unity, service, and cooperation.
