19 Schools of Nuwakot and Makwanpur receives touch-less hand washing stations

Rotary Club of Kathmandu distributed 19 touch-less hand washing stations to 19 schools of the Nuwakot and Makwanpur districts on 21 July, 2021. 16 hand washing stations were provided to 16 different schools of Shivapuri Rural Municipality, Nuwakot in the presence of Rural Municipality Chairperson Mr. Ram Krishna Thapa, Health department head and Education department head by Secretary of Rotary Club of Kathmandu Rtn. Sushil Kumar Karki. Three handwashing stations were provided to three different schools of Thaha Municipality, Makwanpur. Two individuals will be able to wash their hands at once in the provided handwashing stations. These handwashing stations will help school students and teachers to wash their hands at school and minimize the transmission of COVID-19 and other diseases. The project was supported by Rotary Club of Genova Lanterna, RI District 2032 and technically managed by Eco-Connect Pvt. Ltd with total budget of US$ 6335.
