The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, along with 11 other Rotary Clubs of District 3292, successfully convened the 3290th joint meeting on 4 April 2026 at Rotary Bhawan, Thapathali. The event brought together club members, Past Presidents, district officers, Rotaractors, and distinguished guests for a productive and engaging exchange of ideas, reflections, and updates.
During the meeting, the Presidents of the respective clubs presented detailed progress reports, highlighting impactful initiatives undertaken to date. These activities demonstrated a strong commitment to Rotary International’s Seven Areas of Focus: peacebuilding and conflict prevention, disease prevention and treatment, water, sanitation and hygiene, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, community economic development, and environmental sustainability.
Rotary service activities play a vital role in addressing pressing community needs—both locally and globally. Through service, Rotary fosters peace, promotes health and education, empowers individuals and families, and builds sustainable solutions for future generations. United by a shared purpose, Rotarians continue to amplify the power of collective action to create meaningful and lasting change.
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participants and stakeholders who contributed to the success of the event, which saw the enthusiastic participation of around 90 attendees. The gathering truly reflected Rotary’s enduring commitment to the ideal of “Service Above Self.”
