Rotary Club of Kathmandu Hands Over Mobile Dental Equipment to Strengthen Community Dental Outreach

The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island, officially handed over a set of mobile dental equipment to BP Eye Foundation on 24 June 2026 to enhance community-based dental outreach services.

The equipment package, valued at NRs. 823,000, includes a Portable Dental Unit with Scaler for dental camps, Apex Locator, Electric Pulp Tester, Intraoral Scanner, Intraoral Scanner Printer, Heavy-Duty Compressor, Portable Dental Chair for outreach camps, Air Rotor Handpiece, Micromotor, and a laptop.

The handover ceremony was attended by District Governor Elect Vishnu Bahadur Karkee and Rotary Club of Kathmandu President Rajendra Gautam. This initiative is expected to strengthen the Foundation’s capacity to deliver quality dental care through community outreach programs and dental camps, expanding access to essential oral health services for underserved communities.
