1999-2000 : Dr. Kishor Kumar Pradhan was installed as the President:

– King Birendra inaugurated the Bhaktapur Cancer Care Center on October 8, 1999 the first 3-H Grant Project of Rotary Club of Kathmandu co-sponsored by Rotary Club of Mansfield and four other clubs in the Kathmandu valley.
– MBBS student Binod Gupta was awarded entire expense for his study.
– PDG Tehmas became the First Major Donor from the club.
– Free Dental Camp was organized at the Rotary Hall.
– A Health Camp was organized at Godamchaur VDC Lalitpur II.
– A Health Camp was organized at Tistung on October 9, 1999.
– Dibyeswari Drinking Water Project (DhrubaDhara) at Lokanthali, Bhaktapur was inaugurated on November 25, 1999. The WCS project was sponsored by RC Nishinomiya (cost Rs. 3,41,000).
– A reservoir was constructed under WCS Project worth $2,850 at Matatirtha sponsored by RC Chiba West, RI District 2790 Japan. Rtn. Ram Gartaula was instrumental in formulating and implementing the project and also a grant to Dental Hospital.
– Three months cane, bamboo goods making training at Aurobindo Ashram at Thankot, Chalk clay handicraft training at Rotary Hall Thapathali were conducted.
– 3-H Grant Project for the Center for Maxillofacial Surgery (TRF $ 1,55,018 + RC Peebles, Scotland RI District 1020 $ 1,93,870 started implementation. Dr. David Geddes was the Primary Contact Dr. Andrew C. Wong visited the projet site.
– Cath Lab was inaugurated at ShahidGangalal National Heart Center on Wednesday 26 April.The lab, first of its kind in Nepal was donated by St. Vincent Hospital in Australia through Rtn. Ron Marcus in response to the request made by RC Kathmandu.
– RCK hosted All Nepal ICM on 25 March 2000.
– A building for Mathurapati School at Kavre was constructed. It was sponsored by RC Gananoque, Canada.
– A health camp was organized at Katunje, Bhaktapur.
