1981-82 : Dr. Jogendra Jha was installed as the President:
-RCK started second World Community Service Project no. 1552. This project focused on helping TB patients of Nepal through Nepal Anti Tuberculosis Association and to help leprosy patients through Nepal Leprosy Relief Association. Japan contributed significantly for this project. Rotary Club of Saitama played a major role in TB control program in Nepal. To provide custodial care and impart education were the main features of the project.
-Rs.15000 was contributed annually for the rehabilitation and another RS 15000 for children’s education.
-Construction works of Nepal’s first Children Park at Bhirkuti Mandap was initiated in cooperation with embassy of India.
